Susan McAlister joined Parkview Health in Fort Wayne, IN in 2012 to develop Parkview’s Clinical Effectiveness Program. The Clinical Effectiveness program centers on population health with focus on Length of Stay, Re-admissions, Mortality, and cost per adjusted patient day.
In 2015 Susan added Population Health clinical operations to her areas of responsibility.
She has developed an extensive Long Term Care Collaborative to include quality metrics, early warning signs interventions and a community para-medic rapid response team.
In September 2017 she will be opening a “Decision Mart” to assist acute care patients with the right care and the right time in the right place.
She has over 20 years of outcome management knowledge and a Black Belt in Six Sigma.
